Conference Overview
In March 2010, MIT’s Technology Review, the world’s oldest technology publication, and CyberMedia, India’s leading technology publisher, will be organizing the prestigious annual conference, EmTech India 2010. With India set to take its place among the leading nations as a growth engine for innovation and entrepreneurship, we carry on the objective of creating a platform for innovation through Technology Review in print, online and through events. EmTech India is the only conference in the world held outside the United States.

Now in its second year, Technology Review India’s MIT@EmTech Conference is an annual event that spotlights technological innovations that are changing the face of business and driving the global economy.

EmTech India 2010 — a two-day summit — will provide a unique forum for exploring next-generation technologies and their impact on business and society. The event will attract top decision makers from the technology, engineering, investment and management communities from around the world. The event will also launch the 2010 TR35, Technology Review India’s annual list of young innovators under the age of 35. These young thought leaders are set to light the path for a better, smarter future.

Based on its role as a key partner and on our excellent cooperation in the past, India has been chosen as one of the target countries in Asia. The campaign has the aim of initiating more mutually beneficial R&D collaborations between German and Indian research institutions and companies. In addition, the campaign aims to attract direct investments.

Through a central contact point which will function as a “first-stop agency”, interested parties from India will receive information and access to German research institutions, competence networks and the private sector and will also be given support in finding suitable partners in the fields of science, industry and politics.
